Large Remus

We here at Russell Francis are excited about the changing seasons particularly when the leaves on the trees turn from green to orange to red. The colours of autumn should be brought into your home- be it in the living room, kitchen, bedroom and any other room.

We’ve created a colourful board of autumn interior design ideas on our pinterest which you can see here - From mantel piece decorations to creating a harvest themed centre piece for the kitchen or dining table.

There are certain things that are instantly recognised as autumnal such as pine cones, candles, pumpkins and squash, big blankets and of course warming orange tones. These are all quick and simple ways to bring autumn to your home without committing too much time and effort.

It might still be comfy, but if your sofa has deteriorated without you even noticing, now is a great time to invest in a new one. A new sofa instantly lifts an entire room, and makes a great statement. Let’s face it we all know that autumn and winter are there to make us curl up on the settee at the end of the day.

Duresta Mallory Stripe

A neutral sofa is perfect all year round as it can be accessorised with the seasons or whenever you feel like a fresh look. Alternatively a bold sofa is eye catching and becomes a feature in itself. The Duresta collection has hundreds of upholstery choices to create that bold autumn look. We particularly like the rich red and gold Mallory Stripe which will add warmth to any room and invite anyone to put their feet up and rest. However if you dare to be a little different this year Pantone has declared that Amethyst Orchid is the autumn colour of the year along with other neutral colours.

If you are looking to make your living room a little warmer with a new sofa, chair, corner piece or recliner then you should look no further than the Russell Francis showroom in Market Harborough.
